Dimensioning Application (Muigg-DIM)

Dimensioning floor plans and sections is one of the most time-consuming tasks in an architectural office. Software that performs this task efficiently, quickly, and reliably is therefore extremely important.

The dimensioning module is a powerful application for dimensioning floor plans and sections with a function to avoid dimension errors and text overlaps.

Another important point is to avoid “dimension errors” that can occur when dimension texts have to be rounded. With the MUIGG DIM dimensioning module, the entire dimension chain is always taken into account, so dimension errors are detected and avoided.

With MUIGG DIM, up to 5 dimension chains can be generated in a single step. The content of the individual dimension chains can be set according to internal company standards:

  • Overall dimensions
  • Openings
  • Walls
  • Building edges
Additional functions of the dimensioning module include:

  • Copying and scaling dimensions when changing scale
  • Automatic post-processing of dimensions when changing parameters
  • Automatic correction of text arrangement when changing the viewing angle
  • Simple section dimensioning with elevation marks

MUIGG DIM runs on AutoCAD Architecture (ACA) as well as on AutoCAD.
